“Echoes of Judson College” is Moving Forward!

The “Echoes of Judson College” traditions book is steadily moving through the production process with the target date of late Fall ’25 for the first printing. The main resource for the document is from the Judson College Senior Class Notebook in the Archives at Samford University in Birmingham, AL.

“It has been an honor to work on this project and one that has taken much time and focus to highlight the historical traditions passed down through many generations of Judson women,” said AAJ Board Member and Project Manager Manda Foster, Ed.D. “I would like to thank alumnae Cynthia Gore, Laurie Gruenloh, Carol May, and Shamim Sisson, Ed.D., for their contributions during the creation and editing processes.”

This book contains the history and chronology of the JC traditions over 183 years, serenade and pageant songs, as well as unnamed personal commentaries by a few senior class presidents.

“Reading this made me so emotional, I could hardly put it down,” said Alumna Carol May. “I loved everything about it!”

If you would like a copy of “Echoes of Judson College”, pre-orders will be available over the summer through our AlwaysAJudson.org website. We will update you once we have final numbers from the publisher!
