“Echoes of Judson College” Traditions book to be release in Fall 2025. More details to follow for Pre-sold copies.

After hundreds of hours of work, the first official draft highlighting Judson College traditions is complete and undergoing final editing!

The team efforts coordinated by Dr. Manda Foster involved copying hundreds of pages from the Senior notebooks; research of other historically related documents; compilation of traditional songs and related activities on campus; and the organization and formatting of the final data from the early 1900’s into a digitized version of 154 pages.

This project started as a goal to learn and capture the Senior Notebook’s traditions given to Samford University Archival Dept. in 2022 by the JC administration. Over the last two years, I have watched this project turn into a journey remembering the good laughter and bonds of our sisterhood. This final project demonstrates the heart of the Judson spirit-uniting sisters through the ages, I will treasure the many hours spent with many alumnae, but more that, there is this written document that can be shared with countless others so they too can understand our deep love for Judson College.
— Dr. Manda Foster

Excerpts from the first draft will be revealed at the 3rd Annual Judson Legacy Tea in December. Final versions of the document will be released in 2025 with pre-sold printed options as a fundraiser to continue the efforts of the Judson Legacy Project.
