AAJ Proposes a Strategic Plan

The AAJ Board of Directors is pleased to release the proposed Strategic Plan for Judson College developed by the many devoted and experienced Alumnae.  Our goal was to create an opportunity for the long-term sustainability of Judson College as a Christian higher education institution for women in Marion, Alabama.  This document outlines an innovative and structured approach for a successful Judson College. 

The Strategic Plan was presented to the officers of the Board of Trustees on March 17th.   It is our understanding that President Dr. Mark Tew, along with other Trustee members, have now received the document to evaluate prior to their Board meeting scheduled for 1:30pm tomorrow afternoon, April 2, 2021. 

We are very appreciative of the hard work of our many AAJ Task Force members who contributed to the research and development of this Strategic Plan.  The challenge of limited and contradictory information did not deter the endeavor to provide a path forward and enabled us to hold to our motto of “Lux et Veritas” for this 183-year-old treasure, our beloved Judson College.

Thank you for your earnest dedication and prayer to this completed project.  Our motivation for a continued legacy of Judson also resonates from the commitment and integrity demonstrated by our faculty, staff members and students.  A plan forward has been provided and now we await their decision.
